Well I think My Top Ten Of The Decade attracted many people to the website and now it’s a matter of keeping people’s interest. Therefore I will be doing three more lists in the upcoming days/weeks. There will be two TV show lists, one that focuses on the best shows of 2009 and another that focuses on the top ten shows of the decade. The last list will be the top ten films of 2009, which may take some time because there are three more films that I want to see that may make it on the list (Broken Embraces, The Hurt Locker, The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus). In other words, the two television lists will be out soon and the top ten films of 2009 list will be at least a week or two.
As far as the the best television shows of 2009 is concerned, I may or may not reduce that list from a top ten to a top five. Frankly there are just not that many GOOD shows on the air right now. I have been playing catch-up with some shows to try and improve the list but five may be all I need right now. The other two will stay at ten, unless I find an excuse to reduce those as well.
So please stay tuned and check back often. I am trying like hell to keep up with new reviews, news and announcements so that all of you can remain well informed.

Hello dear readers/subscribers of ours…
Apologies for being gone. There are only three of us who write/work on this website and while we love what we do, we simply have not had the time to add more to the site. Speaking personally, this last semester almost put me into a grave at school. With the amount of papers I had to write I was simply tired of looking at a computer all day. Therefore I am fully acknowledging that I am a slacker as of late.
Rest assured however I plan on being back with more reviews than one could hope for, starting off of course with My Top Ten Movies of the Decade! Consider this a New Years Resolution. I will be back with more reviews, more commentary, more announcements, more complaining etc. I am also thinking about writing script reviews and posting more news about writers that I particularly enjoy in television and film. Who knows? If I can persuade Nick (the creator of this fantastic site) to add a book review and possibly music review section I might go in that direction too. We’re called The Film Assassins but we try and cover (obviously) more than just film.
So buckle up. We’re getting this baby up to 88 mph and heading back in time to revisit some of my favorite films from the last decade!

So a few weeks ago someone from Thailand hacked the website and messed everything up. Since I’m an idiot, I didn’t have a backup, so we’ve had to build everything up from scratch. At the same time all this was happening I was moving. This meant that it was very difficult for me to get things up and running as fast as I would have liked. However, I’m all settled into my new place so I’ve begun re-posting things. All the podcasts are up now and we should get everything else up soon. While this experience has been aggravating, I think it affords a nice opportunity to try and re-launch the site, and hopefully get things on a more regular basis. As soon as Casey gets back from Thailand…. wait… that bastard!
