The moment everyone has been waiting for…

I’m of course going to be starting from number 10 and counting down but before anyone reads on let me mention that anything anyone writes is simply their opinion. This may seem obvious, but many people tend to attack critics and others like myself for their “best of” lists. I imagine my list will cause some anger among people but my hope is that what I have to say will create and promote a discussion of these films, rather than an attack on me. I should also mention that while there have been many great films since 2000, I have not seen every single one. Thus my list may differ from that of the critics and other film buffs out there.

Hello dear readers/subscribers of ours…

Apologies for being gone. There are only three of us who write/work on this website and while we love what we do, we simply have not had the time to add more to the site. Speaking personally, this last semester almost put me into a grave at school. With the amount of papers I had to write I was simply tired of looking at a computer all day. Therefore I am fully acknowledging that I am a slacker as of late.

Rest assured however I plan on being back with more reviews than one could hope for, starting off of course with My Top Ten Movies of the Decade! Consider this a New Years Resolution. I will be back with more reviews, more commentary, more announcements, more complaining etc. I am also thinking about writing script reviews and posting more news about writers that I particularly enjoy in television and film. Who knows? If I can persuade Nick (the creator of this fantastic site) to add a book review and possibly music review section I might go in that direction too. We’re called The Film Assassins but we try and cover (obviously) more than just film.

So buckle up. We’re getting this baby up to 88 mph and heading back in time to revisit some of my favorite films from the last decade!
