Episode 24 – Time Keeps on Slipping Into the 80′s

Hey everyone, I don’t have a lot of time so I will make this short and sweet. Time machines, good or bad? Who knows, who cares? We Do! Also, I think we talk about aliens for awhile. Enjoy!

This may sound strange, but Chris Evans is way better than Captain America.
“Fierce People,” “London,” he’s actually an amazing actor.
Someone who really sucks can play Captain America, because he’s only the gayest superhero since Captain Planet.
What’s with the Captains and being gay?
I’ll bet even Captain Crunch could kick their asses.

The cast of Hot Tub Time Machine is pretty fantastic.
It might be really dumb, it looks really dumb, but Jessica ParĂ©’s in it…I’ll see it.

    “Dad-dad-daddio.”

I haven’t seen Chris Evans in a lot of stuff. I judge him, like I judge all people, with very little information and an extreme amount of bias. I just don’t see if there is a way for him to not be fucking Johnny Storm. People say that he was the best part of the Fantastic Four movie. However, I feel like they give him a pass like they give Ryan Reynolds a pass. They like him, so they don’t recognize that he may be kinda mediocre. But I could be wrong. In fact I probably am. I mean, I review movies, but I don’t actually watch them

That may apply to cartoon captains, but live action captains kick ass. Captain jack Sparrow, Captain Malcom Reynolds, Captain Jean-Luc fucking Picard!

    Check out “Fierce People.”
It’s one of my favorites to be released in the last few years and it’s got brilliant performances all around. Very interesting film.

I think more than anything, these guys have a look which gives them a free ride and unfortunately, if they are talented, they aren’t given a chance to stretch.
In the case of Ryan Reynolds, I always liked him as “the funny guy,” every since “Two Guys, a Girl, and a Pizza Place,” but after seeing him in “Fireflies in the Garden” and realizing that he has quite a range as an actor, it’s actually rather depressing that he’s type cast so often.

Your live-action Captain assessment is fair indeed.

Check out these trailers and I hope you’ll check out the films sometime.
